Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the application value of modified endoscopic whole-process management mode in urological surgery.

Methods

From March 15, 2019 to March 29, 2019, 178 cases of endoscopic handover in urological surgery in our hospital were selected as the control group before the modified whole-process management mode; 200 cases from May 10, 2019 to May 19, 2019 were selected as the observation group after the modified whole-process management mode. The existing problems were analyzed, and the improvement measures were formulated and implemented. Through the implementation of stratified and classified specialist clinical training for surgeons, nurses and workers; the endoscopic map with pictures and texts was designed; the same set of mirror body was identified in the same color; the coding and external labeling consistency of the mirror were standardized; and the guidelines for the system related to endoscopic handover were developed. The handover status, standardization rate and satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups before and after the improvement.

Results

The standard rate, satisfaction rate (96.7%) and intangible effect score of members after modified whole process management were significantly higher than those before implementation (P<0.01).

Conclusions

After improving the whole process management mode of endoscope in urological surgery, the professional knowledge is improved, the timeliness and effectiveness of device supply are increased, the work efficiency and use safety are improved, the comprehensive ability of nursing staff is improved, the economic and social benefits of the hospital are improved, and the effect of integrated management of disinfection supply center in the operating room is highlighted.
