Abstract:

Objective

To study the application of wireless intelligent endoscopy in laparoscopic radical cystectomy.

Methods

From May 2021 to June 2022, 38 patients with high-grade invasive bladder tumor in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University were involved, of which 19 patients underwent traditional high-definition laparoscopic radical cystectomy, and 19 patients underwent wireless intelligent endoscopy radical cystectomy. The differences of preoperative preparation time, operation time, bleeding volume, clarity, grip feeling and image delay between the two groups were compared.

Results

There was no significant difference in operation time, blood loss, clarity and image delay between high-definition laparoscopic operation group and wireless intelligent laparoscopic operation group (P>0.05). The preoperative preparation time of wireless intelligent laparoscopy group was shorter than traditional high-definition laparoscopy group (P<0.05), the surgeons’ intraoperative grip in wireless intelligent group was better than traditional high-definition laparoscopy group (P<0.05).

Conclusions

It is safe and effective of wireless intelligent laparoscopy system in radical cystectomy. It can reduce the preoperative preparation time and improve the surgeons’ sense of holding the endoscopic lens.

Key words: Wireless intelligent endoscopy, Bladder cancer, Cystectomy
