Construction of evaluation system for urological nursing safety management based on Delphi method

Abstract:

Objective

To establish an evaluation system of nursing safety management in Urology department.

Methods

Through literature review and then used the Delphi method to conduct 2 rounds of consultation among 16 Urology nursing experts to establish an evaluation system.

Results

In two rounds of surveys, the rates of questionnaire retrieve were 100% and 94.12%, respectively. The concentration of expert opinions fluctuated from 4.25 to 5.00, and the coordination of expert opinions fluctuated from 0.00 to 0.20. The authoritative coefficients were 0.910 and 0.929, the coordination coefficients were 0.119 and 0.114. The evaluation system consisted of 10 first-level indicators, 55 second-level indicators and 41 third-level indicators.

Conclusions

The evaluation system of nursing safety in Urology was comprehensive, scientific, reliable, practical and important, which can provide references for improving nursing safety.
