Application of artificial intelligence virtual digital doctors in patient education management for day surgery holmium laser enucleation of the prostate

Abstract:

As daytime holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) surgery becomes increasingly widespread, the importance of related patient education management is becoming more prominent. Artificial intelligence (AI) virtual digital doctors is an innovative pathway worth exploring in patient education management. This article summarizes the evolutionary process of AI technology and discusses the application and challenges of AI virtual digital doctors in patient education management. It specifically introduces the exploration of a virtual digital doctor developed in collaboration with a professional AI organization by our team for the management of patient education in daytime HoLEP surgery. This virtual doctor educates patients through natural language interaction. By evaluating the effects of AI virtual digital doctors on patient education management in daytime HoLEP surgery, results indicate that the virtual digital doctor plays a positive role in alleviating patient anxiety and in the popularization of medical knowledge. AI virtual digital doctors have shown significant advantages in patient education management, promising to provide more personalized medical services for patients, enhance the efficiency and quality of medical services, and effectively reduce the workload of medical professionals.
