Transvaginal anterior pevic repair for cystocele with mesh use

Abstract:

Objective

To explore the experiences of transvaginal anterior pevic repair for cystocele with mesh use.

Methods

The clinical data of 12 patients with cystocele were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from January 2017 to April 2018. All patients were diagnosed by preoperative physical examination and underwent transvaginal anterior pevic repair.

Results

All patients underwent operations successfully, and voided influently. The average operative time was 65 min, and the average operative blood loss was 20 ml. All patients were cured by operation and no complications such as mesh exposure occurred by follow up for 3-16 months.

Conclusions

Transvaginal anterior pevic repair for cystocele with mesh use is safe and efficient, and it is worthy of clinical application.
