A case report of unicentric Castleman disease in the retroperitoneum and literature review

Abstract

Abstract:

This report presents a case of a retroperitoneal mass with an undetermined preoperative diagnosis，where the patient also had hypertension and was suspected of paraganglioma.We performed a laparoscopic resection of the retroperitoneal mass，the pathological diagnosis confirmed Castleman disease.The patient was successfully discharged after treatment.In conjunction with literature review，we further discuss the characteristics，clinical manifestations，and treatment approaches for Castleman disease.
