Abstract:

Objective

To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the sacral nerve modulation based on multi-disciplinary teamwork in the treatment of neurogenic bladder patients.

Methods

Thirty-six patients with neurogenic bladder undergoing sacral neuromodulation surgery were divided into control group (15 cases, from January to December 2018) and intervention group (21 cases, from January to December 2019) according to the admission time. The control group was given routine nursing care, and the intervention group was given a full-case management model. The conversion rate of sacral nerve regulation in the two phases of the two groups, the differences in the bladder function management effect, the incidence of urinary tract infection, the patient satisfaction and the quality of life of the two groups of patients at the first three months after the first phase operation were compared.

Results

Conversion rate of sacral neuromodulation second-stage surgery, balanced bladder compliance rate, bladder capacity, patient satisfaction and quality of life in the intervention group were higher than those of the control group.

Conclusions

The multi-disciplinary teamwork management has achieved continuous and personalized management of sacral neuromodulation therapy for neurogenic bladder patients, and improved the efficacy.
