One case report of retroperitoneal laparoscopic treatment of a retroperitoneal benign epithelial cyst

Abstract:

The article discusses the case of a female patient who was admitted with a complaint of "right flank distending pain for one year". Imaging tests showed a retroperitoneal cyst on the right side, measuring approximately 11.2 cm×7.1 cm×6.9 cm. A retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgery was successfully performed to completely remove the cyst. This case could provide experience for the retroperitoneal laparoscopic treatment of benign retroperitoneal cystic lesions.
