Abstract:

The incidence of prostate cancer has been increasing annually, making it one of the most common male malignant tumors in China. Robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RARP) has become a treatment option for an increasing number of prostate cancer patients. However, postoperative urinary incontinence remains an urgent challenge requiring resolution. Studying the influencing factors of urinary continence recovery after RARP may provide better clinical assessment and treatment strategies. This article reviews recent research progress on factors affecting urinary continence recovery following RARP.
