Abstract:

Objective

To compare the efficacy of 3D laparoscopy and traditional 2D laparoscopy in partial nephrectomy.

Methods

From May 2016 to October 2019, 78 patients who needed partial nephrectomy were randomly divided into two groups. 37 patients in the observation group underwent 3D laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, while the others in the control group underwent conventional 2D laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. The differences of perioperative parameters between the two groups were compared.

Results

There was no significant difference in gender, age, sides, tumor size, RENAL score, body mass index and other general information between the two groups (P>0.05). In the observation group, the warm ischemia time (WIT) (22.3±4.6) min and renal suture time (14.7±3.1) min were shorter than those in the control group (25.8±5.0) min and (17.5±4.0) min, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). At the same time, the postoperative changes in serum creatinine of the observation group (8.4±5.5) μmol/L was smaller than the control group (12.4±7.0) μmol/L, and the differences were significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in operation time, blood loss, tumor resection time and postoperative hospitalization days (P>0.05).

Conclusion

The use of 3D laparoscopy in partial nephrectomy can reduce the WIT because of the shorter suture time. Which is of certain significance for the protection of postoperative renal function of patients and is worth popularizing.
